Leads Labor Day Mobilization in Cavite
Solidarity
of Cavite Workers (SCW) led more than a thousand strong workers coming from
across the province of Cavite mobilized their ranks in commemoration of the
International Labor Day Celebration in the afternoon of May 1, 2012 at the
front of the Cavite Economic Zone (CEZ) Gate 1 in Rosario, Cavite.
Workers
along with other sectors who support the workers cause assemble at the park of
Rosario, Cavite after the church people-workers dialogue that happened in the
morning at Marian Hall of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in the same town.
Though
rain briefly pour hard at the time of the assembly, marchers still went on to
prepare and proceeded with the march towards Gate 1 of the CEZ.
The
marchers carry placards and banners bearing calls for the people to support the
legislation of the nationwide P125 across the board wage increase or House Bill
375 and the Regular Employment Bill or House Bill 5110. CONTINUE READING...
